It's the end of August. I've been reflecting on my summer.
I managed to climb two mountains on my list - Mt Logan and Mt Damavand. I managed to visit five countries. I learned that two people I know personally went through cancer.
And then I came across Tim Urban's epic article. It shares a simple yet powerful idea on how to view our lives.
Instead of measuring your life in units of time, you can measure it in activities or events.
Reading through the list makes you pause and rethink. It makes you appreciate every moment, every day even more.
It also makes you more selective about the projects you work on and the people you keep around as time is limited.
